Lovely, spacious accommodation, with everything we needed. The property is spotless and in a very quiet area. It says off road parking for two cars but we had a third small car and that fitted on the drive fine. Saying that it is easy to park in the road, if need be. Helen is very easy to contact and responds super quickly.

What a beautiful house to spend my birthday and our anniversary weekend. The house was immaculate, it's gorgeous. Ping-pong and pool table was a hit for the kids. Beds are comfy and house was clean.

Chester

Our holiday homes are only a short distance from Chester. As soon as you arrive in the city you will appreciate its unique atmosphere and sense of history.

Founded by the Romans over 2000 years ago, much of the Roman influence remains and Chester’s city walls are the most complete in Britain. 

From the Roman amphitheatre, to the medieval half-timbered buildings, one of Chester’s most unique features is the two-tiered rows of shops, which means you can browse whatever the weather. 

As well as having so much history and heritage, Chester is a vibrant, dynamic city full of restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs, hotels, racecourse, zoo, theatre and not forgetting the River Dee. 

With so much to discover, you will always find something new each time you visit.

Hawarden

Overlooking the Cheshire plain, this picturesque village offers an ideal centre from which to explore the magnificent mountains, forest and sandy coastline of North Wales. 

For the walker, trails can be explored taking in the neighbouring villages of Mancot, Aston and Ewloe and leading variously along grassy paths, past land once resonant with the sound of industry, through wooded countryside.

The ruins of the Hawarden Corn Mill, which ceased production in the 1940’s can be seen in the Bilberry wood, accessed by the public footpath from the Tinkersdale Public Car Park.

The House of Correction – This was built about the middle of the eighteenth century to house prisoners before their trial or their removal to the county gaol at Flint. It was designed by Joseph Turner, the architect and it includes a basement area.

Hawarden’s own unique heritage, topography and history have created a varied and interesting environment for the discerning visitor.
